Solo dev, crowded house
Gums & Bones is a one-person studio named after two of the cats I live with. There are twenty-two cats in total, and seven dogs. It's a full house.
I spent years working in teams, building other people's things. Going solo means I get to combine what I love with building what I want, the way I want. Without any bloody meetings!
Patter is the first app. More are coming — each one focused on a single thing, each one named after something animals do. That's the pattern. Small tools that do their job without trying to become your entire life.
I design, build, write the copy, maintain the website, and use my apps on a daily basis. If something's broken, it's my fault. If something works well, it's also my fault.
